BahamaClassifieds Privacy Policy

BahamaClassifieds is a classified advertising service bundled with a host of value-added services. You don't need to be a registered BahamaClassifieds user, nor do you need to be logged in to use BahamaClassifieds. However, there are some features that are only accessible if you're registered and logged in.

Information Collection and Use Practices

If you would like to place an ad on BahamaClassifieds, some of your personal contact information is shown with your ad, including your name, address, email address, telephone number, and any other information that you specify.

There will be a link from your ad that users can click on in order to email you if they are interested in your ad. Prior to the expiration of a listing, BahamaClassifieds will email a reminder to the seller that the listing must be updated, renewed, or deleted.

If you click on the "Reply to this ad" link within the ad this will bring up a page that asks for your email address. An email will be sent from you to the user who placed the ad. BahamaClassifieds does not use this information for any marketing purposes.

When you provide BahamaClassifieds with a acknowledgement about your Classifieds experience, we ask for your name, email address, phone number (optional), and feedback regarding your experience. We may use this information to contact you regarding your acknowledgement. If you indicate that we may quote you, your name and experience may be shared with others or posted publicly to our site and you may be contacted about your experience.

BahamaClassifieds also offers a feedback form that allows you to send us comments and suggestions regarding BahamaClassifieds. This form asks for your name and email address, but only your email address is required. Your email address may be used to contact you regarding the feedback that you have provided to us, but will not be used for any marketing purposes.

By using BahamaClassifieds and its various features, you may make some of your personal information public or you may choose to share some of your personal information with others. If you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.

You can edit or delete any current ads you have placed by clicking on the "My Ads" link from any BahamaClassifieds page.

While registration, you will be asked if you wish to be listed in Digi-Tel-Dir, the Digital Information and Phone Directory. If you opted to add your listing, we will add you and your business (if applicable) to white pages and your business to yellow pages. If you wish to remove your listing or modify it at any time, you can do so by contacting us.
